About Me.
Hello, I'm Nikki Kucharski, a passionate female artist and the proud owner of Tattoo Noire Private Studio.
My journey in the world of art began in Milwaukee, but it was in Wausau where I delved into oil painting in 2019. In 2022, I embarked on a new chapter as a licensed tattoo artist in Minocqua. Recently, I relocated to the Fox Valley in March 2023 to pursue my tattoo career further and explore mural artistry. Completing my apprenticeship, I started creating murals that same year, adding another dimension to my artistic repertoire.
My Journey
Early Years
Milwaukee & Port Washington
Born in Milwaukee and raised in Port Washington, my early years laid the foundation for my artistic journey. Though my path initially led me to pursue a college degree in computer animation at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, I soon realized my passion lay elsewhere.
2019-2022 Wausau
Oil Painting Journey
It was in Wausau where I discovered my love for oil painting. Taking workshops under the guidance of esteemed artists like David Hummer, Margaret Bowland, and Nathanial Brandner, I refined my skills and developed my artistic voice.
2022 - Minocqua
Tattoo Career Beginnings
It was in Minocqua where my very origins of my tattoo career began. This was the island city where I picked up the tattoo gun and began my endeavors.
March 2023 - Present
Relocation to Fox Valley & Mural Artistry
Relocating to the Fox Valley in March 2023 marked a pivotal moment in my artistic journey. Here, I not only expanded my tattoo career but also ventured into mural artistry. Completing my apprenticeship, I began creating captivating murals, adding vibrancy to the local landscape.
Artistic Philosophy & Interests
Beyond my artistic endeavors, I find joy in various activities, including interior design, camping, traveling, and attending live music events. As a dog lover, I'm also committed to supporting causes like the Minnesota Boxer Rescue. In both my art and life, I strive to embody kindness, a value encapsulated in my personal mantra, "Be Kind". This philosophy guides me in creating welcoming spaces for all, fostering a sense of inclusivity and warmth in both my studio and my art.
